We are a small, French inspired cafe located at 616 South Elm Street in downtown Greensboro, NC.
We provide equal employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
and it is our mission to provide community & connection across the table.
We believe good food brings people together!
We are a full service, first come-first served restaurant. We do not accept reservations.
Weekdays, breakfast is served from 8-11am and lunch from 11-2pm.
Weekends, we serve brunch only from 8-2pm.
Due to our capacity & operating hours, our wait list may be cut off prior to closing on
busy days in order for our kitchen to accomodate our tables & orders! Take-out orders are not available when
our restaurant is on a wait. Take-out orders are taken by phone or walk-in & typically available Monday-Friday
and weekends before 9am. Thank you in advance for being kind to us!

At Chez Genèse we believe the desire to find meaning and fulfilling work is woven into basic human need and nature, and that every person has a skill set to contribute.
It is our goal, as a team, to come alongside incredible individuals who (due to an intellectual or developmental disability) may oftentimes have the odds stacked against them in the workforce, to help develop and celebrate their own interests and potential.
